Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Services (OSGB)
From assigning an occupational safety specialist and workplace physician to risk assessment and OHS training, we carry out your obligations through our OSGB (Joint Health and Safety Unit).
Spotting the Hazard Before It Becomes an Accident
Occupational health and safety is an obligation placed on every workplace according to its number of employees and hazard class; but meeting the obligation is not the same as preventing accidents. Through our OSGB unit, we run the assignment of an occupational safety specialist and workplace physician, risk assessment, OHS training and emergency planning within a single structure.

Risks
A workplace accident has irreversible consequences for the employee; for the business it means a stopped line, an administrative fine, a compensation claim and, often, a lost customer order.
RisksRisk of accidents and occupational disease
RisksPenalties and production loss
Opportunities
A workplace that sees hazards before accidents happen, trains its employees and prepares for emergencies is ready at any moment for both the labour inspector and the customer audit; the cost of preparation is small next to the cost of an accident.

Safety Beyond Obligation
We identify hazards on site and make them visible before they become incidents; we build the preventive measure into the employee’s daily work steps.

Frequently Asked Questions
The obligation is determined by your number of employees and your workplace’s hazard class (less hazardous, hazardous, very hazardous). We work out specifically for your workplace which staff must be assigned and for how long.
Instead of employing OHS professionals such as an occupational safety specialist and a workplace physician on your own staff, you receive these services through an authorised Joint Health and Safety Unit (OSGB). Most small and medium-sized businesses meet their obligation this way.
It is renewed at intervals set by the hazard class; beyond that, it must be updated without waiting for the interval whenever a significant change occurs, such as a relocation, new machinery, a new production line, a workplace accident or a near-miss event.
Yes. We schedule basic OHS training and any task-specific training at your workplace, at times that fit your shift pattern.
Yes. While carrying out your OHS obligations through the OSGB, we use the same field data for the ISO 45001 management system set-up: risk assessments, training records and incident investigations are not produced a second time.
